How we may use your personal information
You may provide information such as your CV, an image of yourself, contact information, information on your preferences, role details and compensation data. We need to collect this data in order for us to make connections between you and relevant private equity investors, which is the purpose of the site.
When a connection is made between you and a private equity professional, which requires the prior agreement from both you and the private equity professional, we may share the contact data of both parties with each other.
If the private equity professional is a client of ours, when both parties agree to being connected we also provide the private equity investor with the ability to view your Executive Nexus profile, excluding compensation data.
Compensation data is only shared with our clients if you specifically agree to this.
We may use your personal data to validate your track record, which is described in more detail in the Privacy Policy.
We also may use your personal data to provide services to private equity. These services include assisting private equity in building world class networks of executives, finding C-level industry advisors on prospective acquisitions, and supporting with portfolio CEO succession.
We also may use your data to contact you with new potential connections, opportunities, content about a relevant topic and news about us.
We also may use your personal data to undertake research on our market, though this research will only be shared outside our organisation in a way which does not personally identify you, unless you have given your prior specific agreement.

Sharing information on our site
Our site allows you to share information in various ways, e.g. when you add to your profile, send messages, upload CVs etc. Information and content that you share or post may be seen by other users of our site and services. When you contribute information to the site, or make contact with other users of our site, you must comply with the content standards set out in our Acceptable Use terms below.
You warrant that any such contribution does comply with those standards, and you will be liable to us and indemnify us for any breach of that warranty. This means you will be responsible for any loss or damage we suffer as a result of your breach of warranty.

Which country’s laws apply to any disputes?
These terms of use, their subject matter and their formation, are governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction except that if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
