Before he co-founded Executive Nexus, Matt spent 10 years supporting multinational private equity firms to build relationships with executive talent to support deal origination, due diligence and portfolio company recruitment. Matt was a Partner at the private equity specialist executive search firm Skillcapital, where he led the Digital and Consumer practices and worked across sectors, spending time based in London and New York. Before that, Matt built a successful private equity practice at Redgrave, a London-based executive search firm. A long time ago, Matt had a brief athletic career representing Great Britain in rowing at European and World level.

Matt holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (MEng) from the University of Bristol.
